So, after a successful solo exhibition of his seventieth birthday in 2009, is the graphic artist, stage designer and university professor Volker Pfüller now six of his former students. Among the graduates of the Weissensee School of Art and the School of Visual Arts in Leipzig, Chris Feist, Anke Feuchtenberger, Kitty Kahane, Katrin Stangl, Henning Wagenbreth and Simone Aquarius. This is where renowned artists along with younger interesting colleagues who have started their way only recently. Since the late 1970s Volker Pfüller also worked as a university teacher. About his teaching in Berlin, Leipzig and Kassel, he says: "The work with the young people gave me much joy and made strongly influenced my own work." The former students now teach themselves in the graphics: "It goes on and on"
